Olivia Gallagher, a Para Athletics athlete from England, was kind enough to take a minute out of her busy training schedule to answer our CP World Games questionnaire! Take a look at her answers below.
What did you do when you found out you were going to participate in the CP World Games?
I knew that I was going to World’s in November 2017. I went to my coaches and said right away, “We have the World’s to train for,” and they said, “Bring it on.”
Will Sant Cugat 2018 be your first CP World Games experience?
Sant Cugat will be my first time representing my country and my first games.
What does participating in the Games mean to you?
Me going to Worlds is something that I never thought would’ve happened two years ago, and without the support of my team, #WeirArcher, and my friends and family, this wouldn’t have been possible.
How long have you been preparing and training for the CP World Games?
Been training ever since I found about the World Games.
What is your goal for the CP World Games?
My goal at the Games is to come home with 5 silvers and some PBS if I’m lucky.
Thanks, Olivia! Be sure to keep up with the CP World Games to hear more from our athletes and support their success.
